About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Dietary Worker at Roosevelt. The role involves greeting customers, clients, and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Key responsibilities include understanding proper preparation techniques, following recipes, timing dish completion, cooking in bulk efficiently to minimize waste, and operating commercial kitchen equipment such as meat slicers, steamers, grills, fryers, and ovens. Basic computer skills are required, with a preference for knowledge of Google Drive and its applications. Cerner knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements

• Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to be on feet for long periods.
• Ability to function under high-stress situations.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Exhibit good communication skills.
• Ability to work well with the public.
• Basic computer skills are a must.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of Google Drive and the apps within.
• Cerner knowledge.

Responsibilities
