About The Position

This position is for a Dietary Worker in Vernal, PRN. The role involves greeting customers, clients, and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Key responsibilities include understanding proper food preparation techniques, following recipes, timing dishes for completion, cooking in bulk efficiently to minimize waste, and operating commercial kitchen equipment such as meat slicers, steamers, grills, fryers, and ovens. Basic computer skills are required, with a plus for knowledge of Google Drive and its applications. Cerner knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements

• Ability to lift approx. 40 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to be on feet for long periods.
• Ability to function under high-stress situations.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Exhibit good communication skills.
• Work well with the public.
• Basic computer skills are a must.
• Must work weekends.

Responsibilities
