About the position
The Dietary Aide/Tray Setter/Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper plays a crucial role in meal preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. This position ensures that the dietary needs of patients are met while adhering to health regulations and company standards under the supervision of the Director of Dining Services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and serving of food to residents.
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with local health regulations and company standards.
- Support the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of each patient.
- Follow oral and written directions to accomplish job tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of experience in the food service industry.
- Food Handler's permit/ServeSafe certification as per state requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
- Positive interpersonal skills to relate favorably to residents and families.
