Job Summary Summary Responsible for assisting the Dietitian in the provision of nutrition services to a broad patient population. This includes appropriate meals, between-meal nourishments, and special formulas required by each individual patient.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Good communication skills.
- High level of service delivery.
- Attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency.
Nice To Haves
- Dietetic Technician, Registered [DTR/NDTR] - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) preferred
- Dietetic technician experience with multiple patient populations 1-2 years preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists dietitian in meeting patient's nutritional needs by obtaining meal selections.
- Interview patients to identify food preferences and allergies.
- Assists supervisors with tasks in the kitchen to help meet accreditation standards.
- Maintains pertinent records.
