About the position
As a Technician at Penske, you will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for customers. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
- Utilize Penske's tools and technologies for repairs and diagnostics.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as tire rotation and lubrication.
- Collaborate with management to learn new skills through training and coaching.
- Complete assigned projects and tasks from supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.
