About the position

As a Technician at Penske, you will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for customers. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
  • Utilize Penske's tools and technologies for repairs and diagnostics.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as tire rotation and lubrication.
  • Collaborate with management to learn new skills through training and coaching.
  • Complete assigned projects and tasks from supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with various OEM equipment.
  • Familiarity with advanced vehicle maintenance technology.
