About the position

The Sales Associate at Dickies is responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the Store Sales Manager in daily operations. This part-time role involves sales generation, merchandising, and maintaining store standards to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Sales Manager in achieving monthly sales projections through personal selling.
• Complete company training programs to ensure excellent customer service.
• Implement basic merchandising principles and standards for proper sales floor display.
• Set up signage and display for catalogs, advertisements, and promotions as directed.
• Ensure all stock is represented on the sales floor and report product issues to management.
• Maintain daily store operations according to company policy and procedures.
• Use POS equipment as required and assist in documentation processes.
• Help account for merchandise movement and protect company assets by following security measures.
• Maintain the physical appearance of the sales floor and stockroom.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school education.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation.
• Ability to take and follow directions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in retail sales is preferred.
