About The Position

INTEGRIS Health Cardiovascular Physicians (ICP) is recruiting for a Full-time, BC/BE Diagnostic Cardiologist, specializing in diagnostic cardiovascular disease. This opportunity will be part of our expert heart care at a convenient local cardiology clinic at INTEGRIS Health Ponca City Hospital in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Requirements

• Oklahoma MD or DO license
• BE/BC

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
• Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
• Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
• Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
• Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
• Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
• Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
• The Physician is responsible for patients.

• Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals.
• Potential for bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence.
• Must follow universal safety precautions.
• Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
