About the position
The Executive Leader for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) at SAP will head the Digital Supply Chain (DSC) Product Management Organization, focusing on driving the strategic direction and commercial success of the IBP product. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing multi-national cloud and SaaS products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering innovation within the product management function.
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial success for the Supply Chain Planning portfolio, specifically for Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Delight customers and partners by developing innovative products.
- Set priorities to maximize market growth for the solution.
- Define and build unique differentiation to conquer competition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product marketing, and customer success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to gather feedback and drive product innovation.
- Develop and execute the product strategy and vision for IBP solutions.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to optimize offerings and drive revenue growth.
- Own the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer feedback and market demands.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customer executives and the board, aligning product management with company goals.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to a team of Senior Product Managers.
- Engage customers and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle to ensure relevant solutions are developed.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and translate insights into actionable product strategies.
- Lead product discovery and design processes to solve customer business challenges.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional work experience in Product Engineering or Product Management, particularly in Supply Chain SaaS applications.
- Proven track record in Product Management and/or Engineering leadership roles for SaaS enterprise software.
- Strong domain expertise in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) concepts and solutions.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially for C-Level communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree or MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
