About the position

The Desktop Support position at NTT DATA involves providing managed client services for a strategic customer, focusing on technical support and high-level customer service. This role requires strong technical skills in desktop support, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops and associated peripherals, primarily in a Windows environment. The position is on-site at a client location in Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site and/or remote installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of desktops, notebooks, and associated peripherals.
  • Provide technical support and incident management service desk functions using ServiceNow.
  • Review, troubleshoot, and approve operational quality of desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.
  • Install, maintain, and optimize desktop/notebook configurations at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
  • Perform maintenance and repair services for desktops and laptops.
  • Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of basic Windows.

Requirements

  • 3 years of desktop/technical Windows support experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments.
  • Proven customer service background.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts.
  • A+ certification or equivalent skill set.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Ability to lift and move Enterprise and Client technology hardware.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system or similar ticketing systems.
  • Office 365 support experience.
  • Installation/Troubleshooting of Software/Hardware.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
