About the position

The Desk Clerk at Mercy Housing plays a crucial role in providing customer service to residents and ensuring the security of the property. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors.
  • Monitor residents and visitors entering and exiting the building.
  • Maintain an accurate log of all visitors to the complex.
  • Convey accurate information to the appropriate authorities as necessary.
  • Answer telephones and take accurate messages.
  • Conduct patrols of the entire complex according to a schedule.
  • Respond to emergency situations by contacting the appropriate emergency services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of general office experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with Yardi software.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a customer service role.
  • Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations.
