About the position

We are seeking a Designer III with a strong background in drafting and design, particularly in the oil and gas mapping/survey industry. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with talented teams while balancing in-office and remote work after training. You will work on impactful pipeline projects and be responsible for processing data for Mapping/Survey projects to ensure accuracy and consistency. You will also work on pipeline and related facility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D, prepare detailed drawings, diagrams, and metadata for the Survey/Mapping Department, and collaborate with leads to execute survey projects and provide high-quality deliverables. The role involves balancing 20% communication/coordination and 80% CADD work.

Responsibilities

• Process data for Mapping/Survey projects to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Work on pipeline and related facility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Prepare detailed drawings, diagrams, and metadata for the Survey/Mapping Department
• Collaborate with leads to execute survey projects and provide high-quality deliverables
• Balance 20% communication/coordination and 80% CADD work

Requirements

• 5-10 years of drafting experience
• 3-8 years in oil and gas mapping/survey projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (advanced drafting skills required)
• A strong work ethic, clear communication skills, and the ability to handle complex assignments

Nice-to-haves

• Survey field experience and/or ESRI ArcPro experience (preferred but not required)
