About the position

The Designer at Bath & Body Works is responsible for creating innovative concepts and designs for product categories aligned with seasonal themes. This role involves presenting brand-appropriate designs that reflect the overall business strategy, focusing on style, color, print, and graphic design for both new and existing product lines. The Designer will research fashion trends and consumer needs to maintain the integrity of the brand while delivering exceptional fragrances and experiences to customers.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design multiple creative solutions.
• Create 3D package designs and understand various packaging types and materials.
• Assist in the creation and execution of final designs.
• Create Design Turn Overs (DTO) and finalize artwork for production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development partners during product sampling stages.
• Support the creation of concept and design options for assigned categories.
• Update design board layouts and printouts, including concept boards.
• Research trends and patterns for upcoming seasons.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 - 6 years of prior experience in 2D / 3D design, illustration, and graphic/product design; package design preferred.
• Strong sense of design, typography, and color.
• High level of creativity, conceptualization, execution, organization, and design skills.
• Proficient in drawing and computer illustration; strong skills in Illustrator and Photoshop are required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fundamental experience and/or knowledge of design with photography.
• Strong fashion sense with the ability to translate into graphic design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative design environment.
• Solid communication and presentation skills.
• Store visits and/or customer insights focus groups.
