About the position
The Design Sales Consultant at The Tile Shop is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with clients. This part-time role involves greeting customers, selling tile and related products, and educating them about product installation and usage. The consultant will also track individual sales goals and provide updates on store orders, all while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Proactively greet customers professionally
- Develop lasting customer relationships by treating customers with courtesy
- Conduct follow-up customer communication
- Sell tile and related products to exceed customer expectations
- Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers
- Understand and track established individual sales goals
- Track store orders and provide customers with product updates
- Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
