About the position
The Design Consultant position at Stoneside Blinds & Shades involves in-home sales and interior design, focusing on delivering a five-star experience to clients. The role requires a strong sales background, a passion for design, and the ability to develop custom proposals based on client needs. Design Consultants will receive extensive training and have the opportunity to earn a high income through a base salary plus commission.
Responsibilities
- Go on approximately ten new, pre-qualified appointments per week to meet clients in their homes or offices.
- Learn about customers' needs and design preferences to develop custom proposals.
- Enter client orders into the automated system.
- Receive extensive training on Stoneside's products and proven sales process.
Requirements
- Proven track record of sales success.
- Passion and talent for interior design.
- Positive attitude, self-motivation, drive, and determination.
- Full-time availability with the ability to work two Saturdays per month.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current liability car insurance.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 35 lbs.
- Live within 30 miles of downtown.
