About the position
The University of Minnesota's Department of Dermatology is seeking a full-time faculty member for a Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship-trained dermatologic Mohs surgeon. This position offers a balance between clinical responsibilities and dedicated research time, with opportunities for education and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform Mohs surgery at M Health Fairview Clinic Oxboro.
- Participate in specialty clinics such as the Transplant Skin Care Clinic and Melanoma & Pigmented Lesion Clinic.
- Engage in fellow, resident, and medical student education.
- Conduct clinical research and pursue funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Clinical and Translational Science Institute and other research initiatives.
Requirements
- M.D. degree, board certified or eligible in Dermatology.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota.
- Demonstrated qualifications in education and clinical care.
- Training and expertise in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology.
- Experience in clinical research, reconstructive surgery, laser surgery, treatment of varicose veins, and cosmetic dermatology.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in clinical research is desired.
- Fellowship training in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology.
