About the position

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. Life Cycle Engineering is conducting search for a Depot Sustainment Manager based at Raytheon's Tucson, AZ facility. In this role, you'll directly support the Sustainment Manager and will work in cross-functional teams to execute awarded delivery orders, while leading a team of 8-10 individuals whose tasks support depot and sustainment activities.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and communicating contract requirements to cross-functional teams
  • Coordination and oversight of day-to-day activities of the Life Cycle Engineering Depot Team, including depot support, shipping, Government Furnished Material (GFM) accounting and missile reporting
  • Control Account Manager (CAM) activities
  • Executing delivery of the products and services to include briefing the customer as required
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and supporting the execution of associated mitigation and capture plans
  • Actively supporting the on-time delivery of Sustainment products and services
  • Actively supporting performance to technical, cost, schedule, quality and EXIM requirements
  • Supporting proposal efforts

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
  • Experience supporting Depot activities including Supply Chain, Logistics, Program Management or Operations
  • Experience leading a team
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Experience working directly with leadership stakeholders
  • Experience supporting the factory floor (Development, Production or Sustainment phases)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter able to manage and track multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills, fostering clear and concise communication in mediating discussions among stakeholders with varying incentives. Experience working with a Government customer is a plus
  • Experience cultivating an inclusive culture where people are encouraged to identify issues early and present alternative viewpoints
