About the position

Brush & Floss Ltd, a dental office located in Schaumburg, IL, is seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our team on Wednesdays. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $22, depending on experience. The Dental Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and welcoming patients as they arrive, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, verifying patient insurance coverage, and collecting necessary information. Additionally, the receptionist will assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, maintain patient records, handle billing and payment transactions, and coordinate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient flow. In this role, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask are essential. The Dental Receptionist will also be expected to address patient inquiries or concerns, providing excellent customer service at all times. Previous experience in medical administrative support or patient service is preferred, along with familiarity with front desk operations in a dental or medical office setting. Proficiency in using phone systems and eClinicalWorks software is desirable, as is knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology.   • 2 years of experience in dental insurance billing is required
  • 2 years of experience in dental terminology is required
