About The Position

Dental One Associates is seeking a friendly and motivated Dental Assistant to join our periodontal surgical team, supporting our offices in College Park, Stockbridge, and Atlanta. As a Dental Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Requirements

3 years or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
X-Ray certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Nice To Haves

Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
