About the position
The Dental Assistant at Eastern Dental plays a crucial role in providing support to dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for patients. This position involves direct interaction with patients, assisting with various dental procedures, and maintaining a smooth workflow in the dental office.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and greet patients upon arriving/leaving
- Respond to patient questions and/or concerns and escalate if needed
- Charting
- Taking patients digital x-rays
- Chair-side dental assisting
- Perform other tasks as necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dentistry
- Exceptional communication and multi-tasking skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Dentrix is preferred
