About the position

We offer general dentistry for the whole family, along with a variety of whitening procedures. Our office prioritizes patient comfort with options like nitrous during appointments, pillows, and blankets. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our clinically led culture, assisting the dentist and connecting with patients to provide the best experience possible.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
  • Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
  • Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Requirements

  • Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
  • X-ray certification where state regulations specify
