About the position
The Dental Assistant position at Gentle Dental involves providing exceptional oral healthcare services to patients while supporting the dental team. The role emphasizes patient care, operational excellence, and building relationships within the community. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain patient records and manage appointment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program.
- Valid health care provider CPR/BLS Certificate.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a dental assistant.
- EFDA Certification.
- X-Ray Certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
