Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• Proven experience in a dental or medical office.
• Experience as a Dental Assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Understanding of health & safety regulations

Nice To Haves

• EDDA Certification
• Post-high-school education
• Coronal polishing certification
• Additional certifications or training

Responsibilities

• Placing intricate restorations and shaping them to perfection.
• Preparing exam rooms and sterilizing instruments.
• Assisting dentists during various procedures.
• Taking and processing patient X-rays.
• Handling lab work and advising patients on oral hygiene.
• Updating and maintaining accurate dental records.
