About the position

2020 Companies is hiring seasonal, part-time Brand Representatives, representing our client, Dell. The Dell Brand Representative (DBR) will primarily be responsible for building relationships and brand awareness inside of retail stores, on behalf of Dell. The ideal candidate is a 'people-person' who can cultivate relationships and build excitement about the Dell brand and products. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create thoughtful and positive interactions with both store associates and prospective customers alike. All product training will be provided, we just need you to bring your personality and positive energy.

Responsibilities

  • Build partnerships and trust with key stakeholders inside of stores, including shoppers and retail associates
  • Ensure Dell's retail brand standards are maintained by regularly inspecting all Dell branded displays and marketing materials
  • Travel within assigned territory to physically visit various retailers, generating brand excitement from managers and retail associates
  • Enhance the Dell brand experience for shoppers
  • Demonstrate and promote Dell products at retailers in the assigned market
  • Be the in-store resource to answer questions, discuss product features and provide hands-on demonstrations
  • Ensure all retailer sales personnel are highly knowledgeable on the unique selling points of Dell devices
  • Conduct experience events to engage Retail Sales Associates and customers
  • Confirm display devices are clean, functional, and available for customers to use
  • Conduct survey of in-store branded fixtures and displays and record findings
  • Partner with store leaders on solutions for pricing or merchandising issues
  • Execute resets, including placement or removal of devices and marketing material
  • Provide insight into marketplace trends of territory retailers
  • Collect consumer insights weekly
  • Gather intelligence from stores which are exceeding sales performance
  • Provide data on competitor pricing, incentives, promotions, and customer preference or sentiment
  • Build brand and promotion awareness with stores associates and in-store leadership
  • Educate customers and retail associates and make product recommendations
  • Schedule and participate in assisted sales events
  • Deliver and communicate key promotional and product launch materials
  • Build and maintain brand presence through increased shelf space and product placement
  • Effectively assess and communicate on-site needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral
  • Responsible for accurately scheduling, tracking, and communicating all activity

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 6+ months previous retail experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment
  • Must have and maintain reliable transportation and state-required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage
