About The Position

A distribution warehouse in Farmers Branch is seeking to hire a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate. The role involves gathering shipping documents, loading materials onto the truck, tracking and routing deliveries, communicating with customers regarding ETAs and delivery instructions, and unloading orders using a dolly and electric jack. The driver will also confirm checklists with customers and ensure all items on each order are delivered, obtaining customer signatures on delivery tickets.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a MVR
• Must have experience driving a 26' box truck
• Must be able to push, pull, unload, stand, and walk for more than 8 hours
• Must be able to pass a drug screening test

Responsibilities

• Gather shipping documents from the warehouse office and ensure all tickets are printed and accounted for
• Load materials onto truck and ensure they are strapped
• Utilize tablet to start delivery tracking and routing
• Communicate with customers regarding ETA of delivery
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery and get instructions on where to place said order
• Use dolly and electric jack to unload orders
• Confirm checklist with customers and check off all items to ensure what is on each order is delivered
• Have customers sign and prints on all delivery tickets
