About the position

The Delivery Driver/Service Technician role at Newsource Medical involves delivering and setting up durable medical equipment in healthcare facilities. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting equipment and training medical staff on proper usage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up durable medical equipment in nursing homes, hospitals, and healthcare facilities.
• Troubleshoot and assess whether repairs are to be made on site or at the warehouse.
• Facilitate service/repair requirements and work with repair departments as appropriate.
• Train medical staff on the proper use and safety of the equipment.
• Deliver high-level quality customer service and maintain a positive demeanor.
• Maintain company-provided cargo van in accordance with policies.
• Support service center and equipment cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Successfully pass screenings (background check/drug test).
• Ability to continuously move and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Schedule flexibility for on-call rotation.
• Safety-mindedness and customer service focus.
• Vaccinations or approved exemptions (e.g., COVID).
