Deli Supervisor, Desert View

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Deli Supervisor to join our team at Desert View in Grand Canyon, Arizona. Responsibilities

• Responsible for staff training, compliance, store cleanliness and purchasing.
• Supervise deli operations including food handling and prep, cashier, guest service, stock and inventory.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
• Review procedures and operations to improve service, performance, and safety, profit and loss controls.
• Ensure proper register, POS and cash handling procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a food and beverage environment; food handling, prep, sanitation and storage knowledge required.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred with excellent customer service and guest experience required.
• Working knowledge of employee relations to direct staff, implement and reinforce rules and procedures.
• Must work without direct supervision, recognize opportunities and initiate projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• No college degree required.
