About The Position
This position requires an individual to perform essential duties with accuracy and maintain a high level of productivity. The role involves developing excellent customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior, promoting high morale within the department and store through honest and open communication, and maintaining good working relationships with other department managers to improve storewide sales. The individual must understand that success depends on teamwork and comply with all company policies, programs, and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct. This role also involves providing a professional example for other store team members through coaching and personal evaluations. A key responsibility is possessing sufficient knowledge and ability to teach others all fundamentals of deli production, including mixing, scaling, cooking, frying, and finishing. Maintaining a high level of coordination and communication with other departments is crucial for a smooth flow of products and services. Additionally, the clerk must maintain adequate and appropriate department records at all times.
Requirements
