About the position

Nugget Markets is seeking enthusiastic and personable deli clerks who are passionate about quality food and customer service. The role involves providing excellent service, sharing product knowledge, and preparing various deli items while maintaining a clean and attractive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Share product knowledge and promote the department's items to guests.
• Prepare sandwiches according to posted menu and guest requests.
• Slice meats and cheeses as needed.
• Prepare rotisserie chickens for sale.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficient knowledge and use of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Basic to proficient knife skills.
• Basic understanding of the English language for communication and reading instructions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude is essential.
