About The Position
Jim Pattison Toyota Surrey is seeking a motivated, performance-driven, digitally proficient, and socially confident individual to join our sales delivery team as a Dealership Sales Consultant. This role is ideal for someone who strives to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction and relationship building. Whether you are experienced in retail, business acquisition, automotive sales, or looking to start a new career, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mainstream brand and build a successful future in the automotive industry. We are open to training motivated individuals who bring a strong work ethic, energy, and a passion for customer service. This is a full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week with a variable commission structure. This role reports to the Sales Manager of the dealership.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Eligible to obtain a VSA license.
- Must be available all days of the week, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong work ethic with a high level of energy and motivation to succeed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi task and follow up consistently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast paced sales environment.
- Successful candidates to submit a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
Nice To Haves
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a strong asset, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Guiding customers through the entire vehicle purchase journey, while delivering a premium customer experience aligned with the Toyota brand.
- Welcome and assist customers in a professional and engaging manner, both in store and through phone and online inquiries.
- Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicle options.
- Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
- Present pricing, financing options, and assist in structuring deals in collaboration with management.
- Maintain accurate and consistent follow up using CRM tools to manage leads and customer relationships.
- Coordinate vehicle deliveries and ensure a seamless handover experience.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and stay up to date on OEM features, technology, and market trends.
- Contribute to team success by maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
