Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have strong work ethics including maintaining a safe, clean, and organized lot
  • Excellent follow-through and organizational skills
  • Proficient with dealership software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
  • Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Ability to work outdoors and remain active throughout the day in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year of dealership lot, inventory, or automotive operations experience, preferred
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience required, including managing employee schedules, productivity, and performance, preferred
  • experience with inventory tracking systems is a plus
  • Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily lot operations to ensure vehicles are parked, displayed, and organized according to dealership standards.
  • Coordinate lot attendants and assign daily priorities to support sales, service, and inventory needs.
  • Monitor vehicle inventory and maintain accurate vehicle locations in dealership systems.
  • Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, tagged, and ready for customer viewing or delivery.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing vehicle movement, including dealer trades, auction units, and customer deliveries.
  • Inspect the lot regularly for safety, cleanliness, signage, and merchandising compliance.
  • Assist sales and management teams with locating vehicles quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain key control and safeguard dealership inventory from damage, loss, or misplacement.
  • Train and coach lot staff on proper vehicle handling, safety procedures, and presentation standards.
  • Manage lot employees by setting expectations, monitoring attendance and productivity, providing coaching, and addressing performance issues in partnership with management.
  • Communicate effectively with sales, service, detail, and transport teams to support dealership operations.
  • Track and report lot issues, vehicle damage, and operational concerns to management in a timely manner.
  • Support special events, promotions, and dealership initiatives that require vehicle staging and lot preparation.
