About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and attentive Poker Dealer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating poker games, ensuring all rules are followed, and maintaining the integrity of each game. You will also interact with players, providing excellent customer service and assisting with any inquiries. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds and those requiring accommodations to apply. Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Texas Hold'em poker rules and hand rankings (Required).
  • Strong math skills with the ability to perform quick mental calculations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage players and maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle chips with dexterity.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience dealing poker in a casino or card house setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Deal cards efficiently and accurately according to Texas Card House game variations and Texas Hold'em poker rules.
  • Enforce game rules and maintain a fair and controlled game environment.
  • Calculate pot odds, payouts, and win conditions.
  • Collect bets, rake chips, and ensure proper chip denomination distribution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized table with proper card handling procedures.
  • Identify and address suspicious player behavior and potential cheating attempts.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering player questions, resolving conflicts professionally, and fostering a positive atmosphere.
  • Operate with a high level of integrity and maintain confidentiality of player information.
  • Set up and break down tables efficiently.
  • Collaborate effectively with Floor Supervisors and other dealers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Floor Supervisor.
