About the position

The position involves providing friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members in a casino environment. Responsibilities include performing accurate chip and cash transactions, maintaining game security, assisting customers with game rules, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. The role may also involve dealing in gaming tournaments and notifying Table Games Leadership of any irregularities. When operating as a Supervisor, additional responsibilities include providing guidance and daily supervision to staff, managing work procedures, and ensuring customer service standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
  • Provide accurate and efficient dealing while following proper game procedures.
  • Perform accurate chip and cash transactions.
  • Observe or receive wagers from customers and take or pay the appropriate game outcomes.
  • Maintain game security and protect company assets at all times.
  • Assist customers in understanding the rules and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Pay winning bets and collect losing bets.
  • May deal in gaming tournaments.
  • Notify Table Games Leadership immediately of any irregularities or any customer requests which are outside of a Table Games Dealer's authority or knowledge.
  • Provide customers with information on how to play the game if requested.
  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department.
  • Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service.
  • Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Provides coaching and counseling to team members.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must successfully complete dealer training or have previous casino dealing experience.
  • Must be fast and accurate in handling cash.
  • Six months experience in customer service field preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully complete an audition displaying adequate Table Games Dealing skills.
  • Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
  • Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of Table Games operating systems.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.

  • Six months experience in customer service field preferred.
