About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team, responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various age groups and a passion for early childhood education and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's learning and development
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and diaper changing as needed
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the best care for each child
- Utilize behavior management techniques when necessary
- Educate children on basic skills and concepts in line with early childhood education standards
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a daycare, preschool, or special education setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
