About the position
Primrose School of Chapel Hill at Briar Chapel is seeking a part-time, energetic person to care for children ages infant - Kindergarten, greet parents, close classrooms and have fun! The hours are 3:00 p.m. (possibly 4:00) - 6:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Ability to also open 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. is a bonus. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for a part-time 2nd job, a student with flexible late afternoons and/or early mornings, or an individual who just wants to spend time giggling, laughing, and receiving enthusiastic hugs.
Responsibilities
- Care for children ages infant - Kindergarten
- Greet parents
- Close classrooms
- Facilitate programs and ensure child safety
Requirements
- Must enjoy playing and caring for small children
- Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a daycare center is NOT required
- Ability to open from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
