About the position

The Daycare Assistant Teacher at Bright Light Learning Center is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. This full-time position involves planning and implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children, while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity, creativity, and exploration among children.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique learning needs.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.

Requirements

• Previous experience in preschool settings or as a nanny/babysitter is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies and infant care practices is beneficial.
• A background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
• Experience working with students of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
