Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the data security industry.
  • Monitor and interpret data security regulations across various countries and regions.
  • Assess the impact of emerging regulations on our products, services and market.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with product development teams to ensure our solutions meet or exceed regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of security features that address specific regulatory needs.
  • Develop strategies to enter new markets while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Advise leadership on regulatory risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present reports on regulatory changes and market dynamics to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with legal counsel and external regulatory bodies as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data security, compliance, or related roles.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of data security principles and technologies.
  • Proficient in cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
  • Expertise in global data security and privacy regulations such as NIS2, DORA, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and others.
  • Experience with compliance audits and certification processes is a plus.
  • Proven ability to conduct market research and analyze complex data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to explain technical and regulatory information clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for data security and compliance.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in a dynamic work environment.
