Data Scientist

About the position

CACI has an opening for a Data Scientist providing support/services to Department of Defense under the ROYALBREW contract at Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develops methodology and processes for prioritization and scheduling of projects.
• Analyzes problems and determines root causes.
• Works closely with all stakeholders to develop strategy for long term data platform architecture.
• Apply data science methods and techniques, such as machine learning, statistical modeling, and artificial intelligence to measure and improve results.
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns; build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms; combine models through ensemble modeling; present information using data visualization techniques; propose solutions and strategies to business challenges; collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
• Develop analytic products and practices that create measurable improvement for processes.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Applicable combination of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from accredited college or university AND experience as a Data Scientist in a program or contract of similar scope.
• Data Scientist 2 (T4): Bachelor's degree and 10 years experience.
• Data Scientist 3 (T5): Bachelor's degree and 12 years experience.
• Must have related experience and be proficient with one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python, R, QLIK, etc.).
• Working knowledge of ADVANA, the Jupiter enclave, QLIK Sense (or similar data visualization tool like Tableau), and Databricks.
