This position involves owning the data science aspects of various products to facilitate data-driven decision-making, optimize product performance, and track product performance. The role requires direct collaboration with product managers to guide product design and with Technical Product Managers to assist with build planning. Key responsibilities include translating business problems and products into data requirements and metrics, initiating the design, development, and implementation of scientific analysis projects, and owning the analysis, modeling, system design, and development of data science solutions for products. The role also involves creating documentation and delivering presentations to communicate model/analysis results to the business, bridging uncertainties in problem definition and data scientific solution approaches, and building consensus on data, metrics, and analysis to drive business and system strategy.
