About the position

The Data Manager/Senior Data Manager at WebBank will play a crucial role in establishing and leading a centralized Data & Analytics function. This position focuses on bridging business needs with data management, initially supporting the Risk Management & Analytics team and expanding influence across the organization. The role involves strategic oversight and hands-on execution to enhance data management processes and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and continuous improvement of the data management function.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Fintech partners' products, models, policies, procedures, and data flows.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and convert them into actionable data management strategies.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and efficient data collection processes.
  • Collaborate with IT, data architects, data engineers, and other technical teams to support business requirements.
  • Oversee data integration processes, including data migration and consolidation.
  • Spearhead strategic data automation and collection initiatives to optimize process efficiencies.
  • Conduct regular assessments of data quality for banking partners to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting.
  • Enhance reporting and business intelligence dashboards using tools like Tableau.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in data management and analytics within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data management software and tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL).
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and lead new functions within an organization.
  • Outstanding initiative, communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
