About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a full-time Data Management Consultant to join their Water Planning Team. This role offers flexibility and can be based in any Arcadis location. The consultant will work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, including management consultants, IT professionals, engineers, and scientists. The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, and proficiency in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience with GIS, SQL, Python, R, PowerBI
  • B.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or related discipline.

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Technical delivery of information technology projects for the water and wastewater utility industry.
  • Working with senior consultants and client staff to perform business process/work method assessments.
  • Conducting project research and data collection.
  • Performing analyses and generating reports.
  • Developing and validating machine-learning models and data pipelines to predict service-line materials and other operational risks for drinking-water clients using GIS, SQL, R, and Python.
  • Participating in pursuit plans, developing client engagement strategies, and participating in task order development and interviews to win new projects.
  • Contributing to data warehouse design, security profile management, data share design, and other data architecture applications for client systems.
  • Developing integration efforts for existing enterprise systems and performing analyses on system architecture and performance.
  • Performing data analyses on large utility datasets such as GIS, computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), capacity assessment, and modeling.
  • Increasing team productivity by developing automated applications and coordinating information requirements.
  • Leading project teams on execution.
  • Performing services on-site or off-site to support client staff performing their day-to-day activities such as planning/scheduling, condition assessment, capacity assessment, and contractor management.
  • Developing technical reports and presentations for projects.
  • Designing and implementing analytics and dashboard platforms.
