About the position

The Senior Data Analyst - Technical Lineage will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality data solutions focused on technical lineage for critical projects. This remote position requires a strong technical background in ETL, data mapping, and data warehousing, with an emphasis on independent execution and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving initiatives with minimal oversight, ensuring data accuracy and quality, and collaborating with teams to optimize data processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive Data Mapping and ETL Projects by taking full ownership of data mapping tasks and ETL processes.
• Conduct Technical Data Analysis to ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of data across platforms.
• Utilize Collibra Edge and Manta to document, map, and trace data lineage, improving data governance and flow tracking.
• Maintain a focus on data quality and accuracy, working closely with QA teams to verify data solutions.
• Act as a self-sufficient expert in data analysis, delivering high-quality results independently.
• Contribute to Proof of Concepts (POCs) on new tools and improve data workflows.
• Support project delivery by ensuring all components are completed on time and meet project goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Senior Data Analyst role with a proven track record in complex data mapping and ETL projects.
• Strong background in ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
• Proficiency in Collibra Edge and Manta or similar data governance tools.
• Keen attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and quality.
• Confident and self-driven, able to handle challenges with minimal supervision.
• Experience in data mapping, transformations, and JSON parsing or conversion.
• Strong analytical skills to optimize data flows and extract insights.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data concepts to various stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data governance and lineage tracking tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
