The Data Analyst Apprenticeship at OpenClassrooms is an innovative earn-and-learn opportunity designed to help individuals build a solid foundation for a career in data analytics. This 12-month competency-based apprenticeship allows participants to engage in on-the-job training for four days a week while dedicating one day to completing OpenClassrooms' online data analyst training path. This unique structure not only provides practical experience but also ensures that apprentices earn an income throughout the program. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a U.S. Department of Labor Certificate of Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship Program, which is a valuable credential in the field of data analytics. The program is inclusive and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds, whether they are recent high school graduates eager to start their careers, college graduates seeking to enhance their technical skills, or experienced professionals looking to transition into the data analytics field. The apprenticeship focuses on providing financial aid information and assistance to students and employers, guiding them through funding application processes, and explaining available funding options. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and institutional apprenticeship and salary funding policies. In addition to providing advisement and support, the Financial Aid Data Analyst Apprentice will be responsible for managing the collection and documentation of Department of Labor (DOL) documents for registered apprenticeships, overseeing grant budgets, and collaborating with Workforce Development boards to facilitate communication between employers and manage federal grants such as the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). This apprenticeship not only equips participants with essential skills in data analysis but also prepares them for a meaningful career in workforce development and financial aid management.
