About the position
Alpha Gymnastics in Woodinville, WA is seeking passionate and experienced coaches for their competitive Girls Team D.P. Level 2 and developmental programs. The role involves developing young gymnasts, implementing training programs, and providing individualized coaching. The position requires evening availability and offers opportunities for advancement as the program grows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for competitive gymnasts, focusing on skill progression and performance enhancement.
- Provide individualized coaching and feedback to athletes to improve their techniques and routines.
- Ensure a safe training environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular equipment checks.
- Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among gymnasts, promoting a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Monitor athletes' physical and mental well-being, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Attend all staff and professional development meetings.
Requirements
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Experience in sports coaching
- Knowledge of gymnastics
- Physical education background
- Teaching experience
- USA-Gymnastics professional member in good standing
- Experience in the USA-Gymnastics compulsory program or high-level competition (2-4 years preferred)
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge or experience with the TOPs program
- Language skills
