Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 4 or more years experience in proposing, developing, installing, managing, operating, maintaining, integrating, and configuring cybersecurity tools across various environments such as CorpsNet, SIPRNet, cloud, DMZ, and network boundaries
  • Proficiency in threat detection and prevention, traffic segmentation controls, data rights management, compliance to connect, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and defensive cyberspace operations infrastructure
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience in maintaining secure configurations, monitoring resource utilization, and contributing to the deployment of new tools
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CAP)
  • Must possess an active Secret‑level security clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Proposing, developing, installing, managing, operating, maintaining, integrating, and configuring a suite of cybersecurity tools to support project network cybersecurity operations.
  • Ensuring tools provide protection across endpoints, peripherals, data, email, web, and networks within various environments (e.g., CorpsNet, SIPRNet, cloud, DMZ, network boundaries, endpoint devices).
  • Supporting the incident response lifecycle.
  • Implementing major cybersecurity capabilities including threat detection and prevention, traffic segmentation controls, data rights management, compliance to connect, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and defensive cyberspace operations infrastructure.
  • Ensuring proper configuration and operation of cybersecurity tools.
  • Monitoring resource utilization of cybersecurity tools.
  • Contributing to the deployment of new cybersecurity tools.
  • Maintaining secure configurations for cybersecurity tools.
  • Continuously tuning performance of cybersecurity tools.
  • Managing backups for cybersecurity tools.
  • Developing security plans.
  • Integrating SIEM data.
  • Maintaining network architecture diagrams.
