About The Position

The Cybersecurity Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, conducting security audits, and providing training and support to staff on best practices for data security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Knowledge of network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
  • Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, and antivirus software
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices for data security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor network activity and conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations when necessary
  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure that security measures are integrated into all systems and applications
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and implement necessary security updates and patches
  • Provide training and support to staff on best practices for data security
  • Conduct regular security training and awareness programs for all employees
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the security of shared data and systems
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulations related to cybersecurity and make recommendations for improvement as needed
