About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information systems and networks from potential cyber threats. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our systems and data are secure and compliant with industry regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies
Experience with network and system security, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM) are a plus

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
Monitor network traffic and system activity to detect and respond to security incidents
Investigate and resolve security breaches and other cyber threats
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies
Conduct regular training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity protocols
Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers
Prepare and present reports on security incidents and potential risks to management
