The On-Site Cybersecurity Network Engineer plays a mission-critical role in protecting the casino’s gaming operations, financial transactions, player data, and enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for architecting, engineering, and securing next-generation network and cybersecurity solutions that support 24/7 casino operations. The Cybersecurity Network Engineer ensures compliance with gaming commission regulations, NIGC requirements (for tribal properties), PCI DSS, and all internal security standards. The Cybersecurity Network Engineer requires advanced expertise in modern network security architecture, real-time threat detection, zero-trust frameworks, and segmented network environments that support gaming, cage and count rooms, hospitality systems, and administrative operations. This role collaborates with security leadership, internal auditors, gaming regulators, and third-party vendors to maintain a secure and highly available environment. Responsibilities include maintaining and administering all aspects of the company’s computer networks, including network hardware & software, assisting with disaster recovery design, planning and implementation, securing and protecting all data in motion, configuring, monitoring and maintaining firewalls, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary.
