About the position
The Cyber Security Engineer position involves supporting the operations and maintenance of custom solutions and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities. The role requires a strong background in cyber security engineering, particularly in vulnerability assessment and analysis, and necessitates a TS/SCI security clearance. The position is primarily onsite in Aurora, CO, with some responsibilities at a customer location in Boulder, CO.
Responsibilities
- Support the operations and maintenance of custom solutions.
- Conduct Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities.
- Perform vulnerability assessment and analysis using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
- Utilize DISA STIGs for manual hardening of systems.
- Manage patching and compliance for Linux systems.
Requirements
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Proficiency in Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
- Experience with patch management and system hardening.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with DISA STIGs.
- Familiarity with cyber security best practices.
- Knowledge of security compliance standards.
