About the position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cybersecurity Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements and industry standards. This role involves developing operating procedures, conducting cyber inspections, and collaborating with various engineering functions to maintain cybersecurity integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop overarching operating procedures for compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct daily cyber inspections, scans, and assessments to identify and correct deficiencies.
  • Perform cyber vulnerability scans and testing to ensure system security.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Engineering, Security, Software Engineering, and Test Engineering teams.
  • Support program activities which may require travel.

Requirements

  • STEM Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Knowledge of NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Experience with embedded security solutions and cybersecurity concepts for Test Equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of audit techniques and experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration, and Test.
  • Ability to use causal analysis tools for technical/process issue resolution.
  • Ability to interpret software code (C/C++) to verify implementation of requirements.
  • Effective communication skills (written, oral, listening, presentation, and technical writing).

Nice-to-haves

  • STEM degree at bachelor's level or higher preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) certification.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and/or Anti-tamper system design and vulnerability assessment.
  • Security + Certification for understanding network security, threats, and vulnerabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
  • Experience with government customers and industry-recognized Quality Systems/Models (CMMI, AS9100, ISO9001).
