About the position
The position involves performing advanced inspection processes at the Columbus Engine Center, focusing on ensuring the proper configuration of engine parts and modules. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to document inspections accurately while meeting production goals. This is a first shift position, emphasizing the importance of safety and compliance with FAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect engine parts and modules to validate proper configuration.
- Read and comprehend Engine Manual, Customer work scopes, and tolerances.
- Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine build.
- Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the facility.
- Complete and review Technical documentation including Fits and Clearances, Engine Inspection Report (EIR), and SAP.
- Complete and review engine package documentation.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years' experience inspecting aircraft parts
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or 2+ years' relevant experience preferred.
- Turbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
